Description
This Slow Cooker Cubed Steak with a delicious brown gravy recipe makes a great weeknight
or weekend dinner..
Ingredients
2 pounds cubed steak (6-8 pieces)
½ cup all purpose flour (½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper (optional)
2-4 tablespoons vegetable oil or as needed (to brown cubed steak)
14.5 oz can of condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
14.5 oz can condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
½ cup onions, chopped
½ cup bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped or peal and use hole
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 teaspoon Gravy Master/Kitchen Bouquet (optional)
1 teaspoon Seasoning Salt or Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
Add the seasoned flour to a bowl and generously flour both sides of your cubed steak. Over
medium heat add enough oil to coat the bottom of a frying pan and bring to temp. Brown
both sides of the steak (About 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired color).
Add the mushroom and cheddar cheese soup to the Crockpot/Slow Cooker, add the onions,
peppers, garlic, seasoning salt, Gravy Master and Worcestershire Sauce,stir to combine. Add
the browned steak to the slow cooker, stirring gently to submerge and coat with the sauce.
Cook on high 4-5 hours or on low 6-7 (I always cook on low).
Serve hot.
